Beach Basketball delivered a strong showing at the National Cup held at Sports Academy, finishing the final day of competition undefeated at 2–0. The event featured several high-level circuit programs, including PG Elite and Oakland Soldiers, providing a competitive environment throughout the weekend.
Beach opened Sunday with a hard-fought 43–39 win over CVBC. The game was tight from start to finish, but Beach found separation behind timely shooting and defensive stops. Rohan Grewal played a key role in the win, knocking down multiple three-pointers and spacing the floor to keep pressure on the defense.
In the second game of the day, Beach faced Team Build Up in another closely contested matchup. Once again, the group showed poise in a late-game situation, pulling out a 43–40 victory. Jaden Javaheri stood out with his play on both ends, making an impact through physical defense and confident offensive decisions as Beach closed out the win.
Finishing 2–0 on Sunday against quality competition highlighted Beach Basketball’s ability to compete with established programs on a national stage. The performance reflected the team’s composure, shot-making, and willingness to step up in close games as the season continues.
