GOLD NOTCHES BIG WIN AT PANGOS

Beach Basketball’s Gold Team made the most of their invite to the Pangos Spring Showcase—one of the top high school basketball events on the West Coast—by delivering a confident, complete performance. Playing at McBride High School in Long Beach, CA, the team set the tone with a dominant win.

Their opponent, All Out Bellflower, brought solid energy early as the first half stayed competitive. But after a key timeout, Beach Gold locked in defensively—getting stops on 10 of the final 11 possessions of the half to swing the momentum and build a double-digit lead going into the break.

In the second half, Beach kept their foot on the gas. The defense remained locked down, the offense found rhythm, and any push from Bellflower was quickly answered. The game never got close again, with the final score finishing at 62-39.

The win highlighted Beach's defensive toughness and ability to make in-game adjustments—qualities that will be key as they head into their next major event: West Mania at MADE Hoops.
